All Newton Turkey Trot participants will enjoy 20% off at Heartbreak at bib pick up on Thursday November 16th through Sunday November 19th.
Finisher Medals
All children that complete the 1-mile run and the first 700 5k finishers will receive a 2023 Newton Turkey Trot Medal.

Start/Finish
The USATF Certified 5-kilometer course begins and ends near the Zervas Elementary School on Beethoven Avenue in Newton.
Mile 1
From the start, head north on Beethoven, crossing Beacon Street. Beethoven Ave becomes Evelyn Road. At Commonwealth Avenue, head left (west) and continue to Bristol Road and turn right right (north) onto Bristol. At the top of Bristol, make a quick right onto Prince and then left onto Bonad Road. When you pass Colbert Road you have completed the first mile!
OFFICIAL COURSE DETAILS
Mile 2
After passing Colbert, continue down Bonad and make a sharp right onto Wauwinet Road. Follow Wauwinet to the end and turn left (east) onto the Comm Ave carriage lane. Follow the carriage lane across Valentine Street and Lowell Avenue. When you reach Beaumont Avenue, pause to waive to the Newton Food Pantry, located across Comm Ave in City Hall! Turn around and head back west on Commonwealth Avenue. Mile two ends shortly after crossing Valentine again!
Mile 3
Continue west down Commonwealth Avenue all the way to Bristol Road. At Bristol, double-back and run east, turning right onto Fuller St/Evelyn St. Continue south on Evelyn for another half mile, crossing Beacon Street and sprinting past the Zervas School to the finish. Congratulations, you've finished the Newton Turkey Trot 5k!
